19th Annual Traditional Norsk Christmas Event

Join us for the 19th Annual Traditional Norsk Christmas Event on Saturday, December 7th, at the Sons of Norway, 722 2nd Ave N, Fargo. Enjoy a Norwegian-style Christmas banquet with Ribbe, potatoes, rutabaga casserole, and more. Appetizers and a dessert buffet are included. After dinner, enjoy live music by "The Front Fenders" (8:30-11:30 p.m.), Kyle Colby (4:00-8:00 p.m.), and The Cropdusters (4:00-7:00 p.m.). Tickets are $60, including dinner and entertainment. Limited pre-sold tickets available online or at Stabo Scandinavian Imports. Proceeds benefit local language and cultural programs.

Join us for the Norwegian Heritage Festival from November 10–15! Highlights include a classic Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner on November 10 and the Kringen Lutefisk Festivalen on November 15. The week promises a fantastic lineup of food, music, and inspiring guest speakers — truly an experience not to miss!

Looking ahead, our Annual Meeting on November 19 will review updates to Lodge bylaws, and all members are encouraged to attend. For those interested in crafts and literature, join the Daughters of Norway on November 9 to create Scandinavian ornaments, or come to the Lesering Book Club on November 20 for a discussion on The Mighty Red by Louise Erdrich. Let’s make the most of these moments to celebrate our Nordic heritage and community this November!
